  1. Day 3 of the Canadian trials saw 6 swimmers qualify. Ashton Baumann - Men's 200m breaststroke Ryan Cochrane - Men's 400m freestyle Kennedy Goss/Katerine Savard - Qualified for the women's 4x200m relay (McLean/Oleksiak already qualified swimmers will swim the individual 200 m) Rachel Nicol/Kierra Smith in the 100m breaststroke. So far 13 swimmers have qualified.
  2. Athletics: 5 Swimming: 2 Canoeing: 1 Rowing: 1 Cycling: 2 Wrestling/Judo : 2 Diving: 2 Rugby: 1 Basketball: 1 Gymnastics: 1 18 total
  3. So dumb to use different crtieria to determine who finsihes where. The first method that would work (since head to head points would not work) would be head to head goal differential. In that case Italy first, Spain second and Netherlands third. Hoping France doesn't win as they do not deserve it.
  4. Day 2 of the Canadian Trials saw 5 more swimmers qualify (4 women and 1 man) Javier Acevedo in the men's backstroke, 0.03 seconds of the NR at 53:67 Dominque Bouchard (59.93) and Kylie Masse (59.06, new NR and second best time in the world this year) qualified in the women's 100m backstroke Emily Overholt and Sydney Pickerm both qualified in the 400im, both well off Overholt's NR set back in 2015 when she won bronze at the Worlds. No qualifiers in the men's 200m butterfly.
  5. Bouchard and Masse through in the 100m backstroke. Masse finished in 59.06 a new CR (second best time this year). All 3 women;s events have had the nr broken so far.
  6. So that likely means Canada and France will play to win lol. Canada finishes second with a tie as well.
  7. What is the tiebreak ?? Looks like Netherlands, Spain and Italy will be in a 3 way tie for first.
  8. Yea its some person trying to start conflict for no reason.
  9. Oleksiak would have won silver and Thomas Bronze with those times at the worlds last year! And Oleksiak is only 15! unreal.
  10. This result in theory should look up a top 2 spot in the group.
  11. Sorry it is listed as another name on FINA's website, which is why the confusion arose in the first place.
  12. Some changes from 2014 (besides the biathlon one listed above) -Freestyle skiing max quota per nation has increased to 30 from 26, meaning we will see less countries taking part in the sport in 2018 -Ski jumping: 5 more women quotas, 5 less men quotas -Snowboarding: max quota per nation has increased to 26 from 24; overall sport quota has increased by 6
  13. Canada should beat both France/Slovakia. Then a battle vs Romania for second.
  14. Canada beats Russia 7-6!!!
  15. Probably if the same referees are there, if not then probably not.
  16. Shamsadin was in the Belgium tie last year. How many does he need in total?
  17. I am surprised to see Tejada of Peru competing. She was caught for doping at the Pan Am Games last summer...
  18. For all the tennis experts, does Daniel Nestor have a chance to qualify for Rio? Keep in mind Raonic and Pospisil are confirmed to be a doubles team and Nestor will need an alternative partner.
