  5. Hope is a reallocated a spot. They have a young talent who almost become wprld youth champ a couple years ago. On their team is also a multiple time Commonwealth Games medalist and a gold medalist from Melbourne.
  6. Oldershaw/Van Koeverden will try to qualify next month. However the stupid rules in the canoe category means only the C2 or C1 can go... with both boats being roughly the same in strength. Girard I believe is officially retired. Even then I would send Nadeau who with selections from other teams could be an outside medal contender.
