  1. Most of these wrestlers are from Haryana where surnames are not written in Passports or official purposes. Those with Surnames are from other Indian states though the trend is changing. If you see double names you can definitely say that he or she is from Haryana
  2. Draws have been released https://arena.uww.org/weight-category/1eef6f73-073e-67fe-ad74-231b2e1b0fdb
  3. Completed re watching the session. I'd remember it for those Liberian singlets, that's unique and wierd. Qualifying both relays is good overall. I expected 2 or even 3 if we qualified the Women on Day 1 and the Men improve. Good thing is that we qualified so lot of time to peak properly. I expected us to DNS in Mixed to focus on both the relays which worked. With our best female relay runner, Vithya out of form I expect us to get a better time. Also Jyotika was excellent on her senior debut. Sub 3:26 here would have been cool but that's ok it can now be saved for Olympics and with quotas secured there would be a tight competition for entry into the Indian team. Feel bad for Mexico maybe if they qualified today we would get ranking quota, but not a sureity though. I would go with Anas-Tom-Ajmal-Jacob with Rajiv as alternate unless Rajesh returns. Overall good tournament.
  4. Women's TT Olympic Probables Sun Yingsha lost 1-3 to Ayika Mukherjee Wang Manyu lost 1-3 to Manika Batra Wang Yidi lost 0-3 to Sreeja Akula Cheng Xingtong lost 3-4 to Manika Batra Cheng Meng - Yet to be beaten Women's Team is slowly coming as a serious contender. No other team in the world have such record against
  5. Is this a random draw with today's time not considered?
  6. Mixed Relay starting immediately after Men's and Women's relay on Day 2 which means teams have to prioritise the events.
  7. Yes On Facebook. Fijian Coach posted about 2 Fijians qualifying few days ago while PNG Taekwondo confirmed the same.
  8. Qualify their first ever team sport for Olympics
  9. I know some of the wrestlers but some are either very new or some not even half as good as those wrestled at Bishkek
  10. has replaced every single wrestler that failed to get quota with a new one. @Vic Liu what is the chinese selection policy will there be Olympic trials again?
  11. https://uww.org/article/world-paris-olympic-qualifier-2024-entry-list Final List
  12. So the world's best archery nation continues to assert it's dominance by winning the 1st World Cup at Shanghai, similar to World Championship last year, infact better with recurve coming to party. 5G, 2S, 1B and medals in 8/10 events. Korea a distinct 2nd with 2 hard fought gold. Next WC: Yecheon May 21-26
  13. Individual Recurve Women G Lim Siyeon S Deepika Kumari B Li Jiaman Men G Andres Temino S Kim Je Deok B Kim Woojin
  14. Individual Compound Men G Nico Wiener S Priyansh B Nico Krapper Women G Jyoti Surekha Vennam S Andrea Beccera B Alexis Ruiz
  15. Mixed Team Compound G S B Recurve G S unlucky lost in shoot off B
  16. Team Finals Winners CM CW RM RW So 3/4 wins great
  17. Does anyone have live results link of fencing Asia Oceania Qualifiers, there is livestream on David Blake but I am not quite sure of results
  18. In the season opener held in the scorching heat the women's team clocked 3:28:64 despite all of them running mixed relay and hour ago. None of the athletes were at their best but that was the quickest season opener as far as the records go. With all racers trying to get into best shape in a standalone women's relay sub 3:26 is possible which would break the 20 year old national record. Men were pretty poor with 3:05:71 and hope they catch up early for mixed relays.
  19. No I mean all 3 relays. We should qualify our women relays in Bahamas, maybe even an outside chance to qualify for finals. Mixed is a little unsure as of now. Men aren't in the best form this year but at least should make it on top 2 best times.
  20. Indian Point of View - Women's Wrestling( 50, 57,76) - Womens 10m Air Rifle and 50m 3p - Women's Boxing(50,75) - Archery Men's Team Recurve - 4*400m Relays - Women's Team TT - Weightlifting W -49kg Overall - Kitefoiling - Archery M,W Individual and XD - Canoe slalom - Surfing - Skeet XD - Weightlifting +87, +102
  21. A certain team crowdfunded their tour for World Women's T20 World Cup Qualifiers. While ICC covers some, those like jerseys kits physios etc aren't. That crowdfunded team made of locals beat one of the favourites today. I'm talking about none other than the debutants at ICC event Vanuatu.
  22. Like what @sounak said. is the no 1 in compound archery winning most of the golds in individual, team, mixed team and even cleansweep sometimes. In recurve Korea is strong but yeah they're going down. Women's team lost in R16, no individual champion. Korea won 3 medals at World Archery Championship last year, two in recurve and one in compound.
