Results of semifinal matches. Greece - Hungary 13-8 Italy - Spain 12-14 World championship concludes tomorrow. Bronze medal match will be Hungary - Italy and the final will be Greece - Spain. This will be the third final ever for Greece in this competition and the fourth for Spain. Both have won one of their previous finals.

Looks like this is the one tourney this year in which Dimitrov remembered how to play tennis. He usually flops after a big win, but beating Hurkacz as well was surprising. Would be good enough to be keep him in the GS seeding range for a few months.

We beat Hungary 13-8 so we are in the final now! FINA is streaming this tournament on Youtube. I wanted to watch today and totally forgot about it until the last few minutes of the game, but happy that our girls won and tomorrow I will watch the final. This is now the 6th medal for Greek water polo national teams in 2021. Unfortunately no gold yet, hopefully tomorrow will be the first though! We last won gold at this competition in 1997, though our most recent medal was a silver in 2017.

Yeah. Nobody cares about winter sports in Spain and the Winter Olympics would be a waste of money. The Summer Olympics would have much more popular support if they don't spend too much money building new venues.

So happy to see Søgaard succeed. He has been through so much injuries. Maybe they should consider giving that doubles a chance (they both focus on mixed)

Eteri is unbelievable coach

15-year old Kamila Valieva set a new WR for the free skate of 174 pts. But she is another pupil of Eteri Tutberidze, so of course we can already tell where this is going...

So, Murakami will not perform on vault and bars, and Andrade will not perform on floor. The all-around title is pretty open right now, with Melnikova the clear favorite. I'm still awaiting confirmation but it looks like only three girls performed two vaults during podium training. Geurts and QiQi are clear favorites for the podium now, along with Andrade. Not sure if Melnikova will perform 2 vaults, but this looks more and more unlikely now.

Playoff rounds begin today at the Pre-Olympic Qualification Tournament. advanced to the playoffs. is definitely the breakout team of the tournament on the men’s side. They might be the 4th best team in Asia right as the best both in pool play.

Most of their PB's were skated on the significantly faster Salt Lake City though. Times like these (and Weidemann's 6:46.81 5km record of last night) halfway in October are incredible though. Either a great sign, or a sign of peaking way too hard, way too early, time will tell

Venezuela, Bolívia, Chile, and others were even weaker and we played like shit haha

Stefanos wasted so many break point chances in the third set

Pretty common in North America. 2018 US Olympic trials had only four participants in the women's 5000m and two participants (including a 53 year old) in the men's 10000m.

The horizontal bar in the training hall broke when Adria Vera was performing just simple giants. What a mess of an event. Tjassa Kysselef publicly complained about the tiny hotel room and the meager amount of food the gymnasts are given after paying 200 euros for each night. Nancy Taman got injured. EMjae Frazier had a nasty fall on floor, probably because the quality of the apparatus leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sorry to bring so much negative remarks and comments here, but I'm seriously scared at how poor everything is. The host city was only chosen because it was the birthplace of the FIG president. Talk about political decisions for the biggest competition in this sport after the Olympics... It backfired in a horrible manner.

It has been said that the accommodations in the hotels is less than optimal, the food is bad and the competition hall looks ugly. Well, this is shaping up to be the worst edition of the World Championships this century. And we still don't know who is going to perform two vaults. The competition starts in 3 days. Unbelievable.
