But going all "They kicked out shooting to mess with India!" sounds like a big overestimation of how important those other nations find India. Like, if they kick speed skating out of the Olympics I'm really not going to presume the Netherlands is so important they do it to mess with us2 points -

It’s more the cultural/social impact of shooting being removed. No one would dare remove Athletics (Caribbean/African stronghold), or Gymnastics (Britain stronghold), or Swimming (Australia stronghold), or Rugby (White people everywhere + Fiji, Samoa, South Africa), but when people of color in Asia get good at a sport, it gets removed. I’m not saying that was Birmingham 2022’s intentions were at all, but the removal of shooting (for lack of venue) is a bit fishing considering the lengths their going to for the likes of cycling. I do personally think the removal was meant to give the English a medal table advantage. However, the situation is way overblown at this point.2 points -
Frederiksberg Station - Photo: Janus Kannuberg - Wiki It is a pleasure to welcome @Janakis, @IoNuTzZ and @rybak to a rather interesting place, the city within a city, Frederiksberg. It was at Kastanievej Efterskole here in the city that Kasper, Mads and Asger met and formed Kashmir back in 1991. They later became the very first Danish contestants in the TISC history in 2013. In many ways Frederiksberg is a part of Copenhagen, but it is really an autonomous city. As such its history is in many ways as the one of Copenhagen. For a long time, the area was farmland helping feed the castles of Copenhagen. In late 1600s-early 1700s Frederiksberg palace was built, but it was only in 1857 that Frederiksberg became an independent parish and since then it became more and more autonomous. During World War 2 the city met one of the biggest tragedies during the German occupation when by mistake a few British bombers hit the French school killing more than 100, mainly children. Frederiksberg Castle - Photo: Ikiwaner - Wiki Frederiksberg doesn’t have much sports clubs of its own, mainly being in corporation with Copenhagen. However Frederiksberg Allé has become the traditional finish of the “Tour de Denmark”, Postnord Danmark Rundt and several remarkable athletes are from here. Most noteworthy is football legend Michael Laudrup, but 1900 Olympic Tug of War Champion Charles Winckler and Per Lyngemark of the 1968 team pursuit champion team were both born here. Copenhagen Zoo - Photo: Guillaume Baviere - Wiki It’s easy to spend time in Frederiksberg. We have the Copenhagen Zoo and the Storm P museum just like there are plenty of lovely parks. But of course, with several of the main attractions of Copenhagen just a few stops away with the metro, there are many sights just outside Frederiksberg as well.2 points

That's denying the fact that badminton's strength has been in Asia for decades now. In a Commonwealth Games perspective wrestling is now pretty much a Canada/India/Nigeria show, not exactly universally diverse (other than we have three nations from three continents competing for medals).1 point -

I've always wondered why Asian nations care about the Commonwealth Games. For India, in special, their top athletes have to compete at their best level at the CWG, Asian Games and the World Championships in a single year. It's a bit too much, especially in sports with world tour or world series. Now, after reading all the comments, I don't think leaving shooting out of the next edition is an anti-India thing. It's just a sport that not many countries really care, except for India. But if there are chances for medals in other events, so why even bother? I don't think any Indian shooter seriously dreams to become the next CWG champion, so just focus on the World Championships and the Asian Games. For India to threat dropping out of the Games entirely is an overreaction, and an almost childish-like attitude (unfortunately I've come to expect that from Indian sports representatives).1 point -

Aarhus Station - Photo: Villy Fink Isaksen - Wiki Hello @Ionoutz24, @titicow, @vinipereira, @konig and @LDOG. Welcome to Aarhus, the host of the 2015 TISC Annual. But other than that, it is also home of Kris Herman, Danish entry in the 2017 Annual contest. Aarhus Cathedral - Photo: Nico - Wiki Aarhus is one of the oldest existing cities in Denmark, having roots all the way back to around 770 AD, where it was called Aros. The first church was most likely built around 1060. The first parts of the current cathedral was however built around in the end of the 1100s. The city grew around the church and harbor. It was however only in the 1800s that it became one of the biggest cities in Denmark when it grew, especially due to some ambitious business men helping to establish the city. During the late 1900s Aarhus was known as the rock capitol of Denmark and still hosts several music festivals and major concerts. ARoS Art Museum - Photo: Teake Oppewal - Wiki In sports, Aarhus is a has the top basketball club of Denmark, Bakken Bears and noteworthy teams in both handball and football and has hosted several European and World Championships. Among the well known athletes from Aarhus is former badminton star Camilla Martin and sailing gold medalists of 2008, Jonas Warrer and Martin Kirketerp. As a former European Capitol of Culture, we have a lot to show you here in Aarhus. The Old Town, ARoS Art Museum and Moesgaard Museum are must-see attractions, but you can also visit the theme park, Tivoli Friheden, go for a stroll in Mindeparken or by the University and go for a concert in one of many concert venues.1 point -

Yeah! In singles, players will be seeded from 13 to 16 depending on how many players finally qualify. There are a few P&C involved in that...the idea is to keep seeds separated. So the situation you mentioned can happen if there only top 13 seeds. That’s what the rules suggest. But in doubles, it’s pretty straight forward — 4 groups and 4 seeds, each separated in different groups. And then rest of the pool gets drawn1 point -

What I understand is the that in singles there are 1-13 seeds which are placed in 16 groups but the rest shall be drawn randomly. In 2016, Viktor Axelsen got a tough group and was paired with Boonsak Poonsana (15th rank) and Lee Dong Keun (14th rank). The other groups were fairly equal. The knockout draw is based on seeding. Similarly in doubles, only 4 pairs get seeded and placed in different groups and the rest are drawn randomly. In 2016, in men's doubles the Indian pair of Manu-Sumeeth were drawn with Japan (rank 6), China (rank 5) and Indonesia (rank 2). After the group stage there was a knockout draw Ideally all the players should be seeded so the groups are relatively equal1 point -

According to Wikipedia, the organization of the sport is very confusing. Two federations organized world championships, then merged, then a new federation emerged and claimed the rights to organize the sport, instead of the one that resulted from the merge. It looks like FIG has a new sport to try to steal from other federations.1 point -

YouTube Channel is here. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVZpqbnDjHyScSYGFPMUtYA Geo-blocked in some countries. But whyohwhyohwhy no commentary? Both Bobsleigh and Luge - which have a much lower audience overall - pay for a professional commentator on their streams, and they also pick up various athletes on location to do expert analysis. It makes such a huge difference to the watchability of the streams, to spectator understanding of the sport and also promotes the athlete-commentators as personalities. Sheer foolishness.1 point -
