  3. Looking at the current entry list for the Miami World Cup which will double as the North America & Caribbean qualifier. Excluding the Laser/Laser Radial not too many eligible nations are competing in multiple events outside of . is competing in the men's RS:X while is competing in the men's Finn (he has a good chance at winning the quota). Currently are eligible in both Laser events while are eligible in the men's laser and are eligible in the women's laser radial. Additionally, is the only eligible nation to compete in the women's 470 so it may obtain a free quota.

  6. Just found out the reason for this. The above average temperatures in Europe (climate change) has been making it hard to create and build the tracks. So they’ve had to cancel the Almaty (250) and Nur-Sultan (1000) events, and move the Igora event (500) to February. To make up for it there’s move events in North America (1 250, and 1 500) now. They’ve also added a 250 to be held in Italy in mid-March.

  7. I was in terrible mood in past few days but watching MH Mohammadian today really cheered me up. he destroyed everybody today including the Olympic Champion, World U23 Champion, European Silver medalist, World Bronze medalist and another guy who finished 5th in Worlds this year. Mohammadian destroyed all of them without giving up a single point. it seems we have a medal favorite in Tokyo at this weight finally. and I don't think Sadulaev is a sure gold medal winner anymore from what we saw today this Mohammadian isn't completely without a chance against the Russian tank. Amir Hossein Zare also won the gold but the field was much weaker at 125kg. he had one tough match against the biggest guy he will ever wrestle Bilyal Makhov ! that was a tough match, Zare won 5-3. he is just 19 and he is already beating multiple World Champions. if both Zare and Mohammadian make the Olympics team, consider we also have the great Yazdani at 86kg. all of a sudden our freestyle team is not that weak anymore !

  20. Too bad, I like them as much as I like ice hockey jerseys in general (which is not very much, but at least I like the design) Now I'm curious which ones they should have in your opinion.

  23. You can save time and come across as more informed/into the sport by only mentioning the differences. The actual times only matter in sports like speed skating, swimming, athletics and so on, in biathlon, cross-country skiing, road cycling and whatnot they are useless In by now thousands of articles, I don't think I've mentioned them even once in sports where they are meaningless

  24. @heywoodu I’ve been both writing and using pre-written articles. The Best Photos Of articles are put together by me (I comb through all the 500-1000 photos taken each day and choose the best 24ish). I wouldn’t use the pre-written articles, but I didn’t really have a choice. You have to remember that you’re using this as a learning experience, and so I’ve probably been more than I should. Ever day I publish articles, run a live blog, record and edit a podcast, remake the results books using my own formula (which is better than there’s). The reason I put all the OIS articles on our website, so that there’s a place for everyone to read them, and easily navigate using the tags. The articles provided by OIS are fair-use.

Why did it never come up that a famous actor Ryan is also secretly a biathlete representing USA?

  28. I sort of expected it, mostly because Colombia is really developing the speed skating well in Salt Lake City and Amaya has been breaking his records left and right to very respectable times Really happy it worked out, I hope he can keep improving and - for starters - get close to let's say the top-20 of the world in one or two of the main distances, which I am convinced he can.
