Roger Kluge is out after a crash with quite a lot of riders involved. SKA, among others, fell down over the edge, although it seems that everyone either didn't fall far or was able to climb back (with injuries here and there, Simon Yates seems to be a victim of always being in the back of the peloton today...)

Simon has abandoned.

Looked like Cavendish was a lock to win.  Then he wasn't.  Then of course he won.  Great job by his team there

What a revival by Cavendish :d

Goes to show, basically everyone who's either not close to the top or has fallen far away from the top can be turned into a world leader at The Wolfpack :p

Earlier during the Tour I read that Cav had said that a 36-year-old with a 36-year-old lead-out shouldn't be able to win (back in the Petacchi days). Guess he feels otherwise now :p

Nice win for Mollema after a brave 40km solo effort. Also the great day for Cofidis and Martin ... Guillaume Martin...who jumped to an unexpected 2nd place in the GC

    • And this is the final Medal Table fo the XX Bolivarian Games in
    • Agreed. But OTOH, the chances of a Male Team pursuit medal also seem rather slim at the moment, so why the hassle of dropping someone.
    • I have a sports database with millions of entries, which I then convert graphically on my Wikipedia sandbox.
    • Wouldn't be surprised to see the same this time. The men's 500m has basically on or with luck two medal chances, but certainly not three (semi-realistic) ones. With Beau Snellink for now not exactly on his way to an Olympic ticket and Patrick Roest still questionable, that might only leave Chris Huizinga, Jorrit Bergsma and Marcel Bosker, and that is not exactly a group one would want to have in the team pursuit.
