Africa: 6-12 January in Cairo, :EGY

Asia: 6-12 January in Jiangmen, :CHN

South America: 9-11 January in Santiago, :CHI

List of participating teams for Olympic qualifiers in each continent

even though we knew most of them already but still good to know the list of teams in Africa and now FIVB confirms Pakistan withdrew in Asia, replaced by Kazakhstan

Not Africa, but there's quite a big chance either Chile or Colombia will qualify from South America, especially since Venezuela faces a variety of problems recently. Not the same level of unexpected, but for example Chile hasn't qualified a men's team in any olympic sport recently.

But Niger is one of those countries one basically never hears anything about at all. It exists, outside of the knowledge of most people even, and that's it :p It'd be so cool if a country like that qualifies in a team sport.
