Does anyone know the selection criteria set by Israel, South Africa and New Zealand NOCs? I'd expect them to refuse any quota if won at the Zonal tournaments, but I can't find any official information.

I can tell that the NOC in Israel is asking for an Athlete to reach to a QF in a competition in order to get confirmation of the quota

The European Championships will be postponed to after the Olympics. So the rankings for the seeding at Tokyo can't change at least for European fencers, but likely it will be the same for everyone else.

yes, since not all the continental champs will be held in each continent before the Games, they won't be used in any case for the Olympic Tornament's seed purpose...

 

I think we can officially start to speculate on the matchups of the Olympic Tournament(s)...
