@RobtheAggie I read that Tara Geraghty-Moats is done with nordic combined and wants to go back to biathlon?

Yes, she is has made that announcement.  This is pretty big news.  I listened to a interview with her from 2016.  She grew up doing nordic, jumping and biathlon, and was good at all three.  When she decided on Nordic Combined, according to her side of the story, there were some unkind things said to her by a few of the USBA people.  She did not name names, but it was not happy.

Last season she was listed on the big list of females that the USBA could call into races, so for those who noticed it, it was pretty big news.  It should be interesting to see how the shooting goes.  If it comes back quickly, she should be a great addition.

I think the deciding factor was that Women's Nordic Combined is still not an Olympic Sport.

At least no Super Sprint.  No Single Mixed Relay (or does that mean both Single and Mixed)?

Anthlotz will decide the Individual

Minsk the Relay

Otepaa the Mixed Relay

Olso the rest.

So, Clare Egan has a very interesting reason why she does not want a Boycott of the Winter Olympics, hint, it is not because she likes China's policies.

    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
