IOC-style: young fans are more interested in videogames and only want to see a Cristiano Ronaldo hat trick in 10 minutes every week!

I mean, he isn't wrong, sports in general are clearly losing the younger generations, but I doubt that shorter matches would solve that. People need to accept that nothing lasts forever and the decline in popularity is inevitable as media consumption changes. The younger generation will just watch 30 seconds long highlights on social media instead of watching a two hours long game where most of the time "nothing happens".

IOC should also focus on being active on social media, have tons of "inspirational moments" clips or something similar on the most popular platforms, and convince Olympic athletes to share their everyday lives and training, that's how younger people will care about the Summer Games.

I do, sadly, think that is true...generally speaking.

Liverpool are almost certainly one of them. The rumour is that 95% of their supporters are against the idea.

According to the Guardian, the two supposed clubs are Chelsea and Man. City:

As a long-time Liverpool fan I wish they hadn't engaged in this project, but I also know the owners are American and they are mostly familiar with the franchise-based closed-league structure, so it doesn't come as a surprise they want this system/league. Just like the owners of Man. Utd and Arsenal.

Sadly (as a Liverpool supporter) I'm not so sure. Sounds more like Chelsea and Man City.
