dcro 10,192 Posted August 10, 2018 #241 Share Posted August 10, 2018 According to our federation, 49ers could be going on water at around 16-17. #banbestmen
dcro 10,192 Posted August 10, 2018 #242 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Plasschaert beats Bouwmeester for gold. That's right, @heywoodu. heywoodu 1 #banbestmen
OlympicsFan 791 Posted August 10, 2018 #243 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Buhl came from way back to win a medal, not a satisfying result for him but a good first step on his way to Tokyo. Now Germany only needs a medal in mens 49 and the federation will be able to sell this competition as a success despite only winning 3 quote places (2-3 less than expected). Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

LDOG 2,221 Posted August 10, 2018 #245 Share Posted August 10, 2018 So far I predicted 5/6 correct medalists today. Only missed Wearn (I predicted Burton). Great day for me.

phelps 7,210 Posted August 10, 2018 #247 Share Posted August 10, 2018 (edited) men's RS:X race #10 was abandoned, women's RS:X race #10 postponed as the last 49er fleet race (probably they won't be able to complete any race today)... it looks that only in the stadium the wind is under control...in the outer courses it's not possible to have a fair race at the moment... edit: it looks that the men's RS:X (race #10) will have a new start in 5 mins...let's see if they don't abort it once again...
