:NED qualified RSX Men, RSX Women, Finn, 49er FX and Laser Radial. That's 5 boats. Or did the Women's 470 also qualify?

Yeah, I just took a quicklook at Wiki summary, and looks like they put 470W to NED indeed by a mistake.

Pretty satisfied with this. One of the more unsure quotas were won (women's RS:X) while the expected ones were there as well. A few bad days means that we don't get the medals that we could, but that's sailing. The main thing is that our 4 "main" classes are secure meaning that they can focus on the Olympics, where especially the 49er classes are going to be very interesting internal qualifications. I'm still hoping for the men's RS:X and maybe Finn or even laser.

Gold for Fantelas!

Incredible, Šime Fantela managed to become Olympic 470 and World 49er champion within two years! And this time he did it with his inexperienced brother, to say the least.

and the races are over for today because of bad weather (lightning expected) incoming...

no Kiteboard finals yet (in any case, it's just a GBR vs FRA battle among the boys, with the addition of a US girl in the women's class)...

edit: maybe there's a chance that the incoming storm would eventually go around Aarhus without staying on the city and the bay and we still have some Kite racing later this afternoon...
