disaster for Italy in the Nacra class (and for Tartaglini in the women's RS:X...she just can't cope with the poor wind condition...she absolutely needs a good breeze to pick up...at least Marta Maggetti is still keeping ITA among the Olympic qualifiers)...

on the other side, very good day in the men's RS:X...and, above all, the biggest surprise for us is the current 7th place and the Olympic spot earned by Dubbini & Di Salle in the women's 470...

p.s. they are the first Italian athletes qualified for Tokyo...now their names will stay in the books (and in the trivia questions) forever...

Quite strange reasoning with Finn. They planned to have 3 races today and nothing tomorrow, but at the end they have 2+2 because of today's poor conditions? Weird.

Not the right nations having quota

So Denmark is using the home advantage. Very impressive results for France and New Zealand.

For me this competition is unworthy of the most important qualifying event for the olympics.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

    • Surely they will unless I am missing something.
    • So, will they appeal to CAS like in Sinner case?

One month for a banned substance is very low even for accidental consumption. I’ve only ever heard that short for something banned only in Competition and therefore not seen as fully doping. .
    • big big news regarding Olympic bronze medalist and two time World Champion  Zurabi Datunashvili   https://ita.sport/news/the-ita-acknowledges-cas-add-decision-sanctioning-wrestler-zurabi-datunashvili-for-anti-doping-rule-violations/   to be honest everything was suspicious about this guy, his sudden improvement since 2021, his body, his sudden retirement in 2023 . its great to see him finally getting caught.   they will reallocate the medals later after the end of the process but his Olympic bronze will go to  Ivan Huklek, I think that will be the first ever wrestling medal for Croatia   his 2021 World title will go  Maskevich and the 2022 gold goes to  Bisultanov Bisultanov will benefit more than anybody else, he also gets a bronze from 2021 and  Kessidis will get a bronze from 2022.

    • I am going to use this as evidence for my belief that the only way for baseball to continue growing is to increase the importance of International tournaments.   Because shocassing stars in those environments is how the MLB can grow their viewership abroad.
    • If this were Milan from 20 years ago, it would be a success but currently it`s just a European average team and on top of that it is not in top form. Milan's defense this season resembles Swiss cheese.
