Pairs are always counted as individuals here. In our former Canoe Slalom C2 triple olympic chanpions Pavol & Peter Hochschorners were Best individual Slovak Athlete of the Year winners as well https://sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Športovec_roka_(Slovensko)
