From the polish view could be different = people from right closed to nationalistic groups. Some time just unstable people, sometimes "painters and artist".

In theory, yes, they are close allies.

In reallity, i dont see nationalism as its seen by the left, as something necessarily bad. I see nationalism solely as a love for own country. Of course, it mustnt include any form of xenophobia, only then nationalism starts to be dangerous. It could be something that happens in Poland or any other country.

My country(ies) was led by radical left and i know what they were capable of.

It's the same here, the radical left is full of miserable people who find something to be offended about and complain 24/7, and hate anything to do with the Greek flag or history or religion. They will gladly protest in the streets for issues/injustices impacting other countries that have absolutely nothing to do with Greece, but commemorating Pontian Greek genocide victims (annual day is 19 May so it's coming up)? Protesting for Cyprus or for the rights of the oppressed Greek minority in Albania? They do not care about these "nationalistic" issues and people like myself who care about these issues are seen by them as "racists" "[insert whatever word] - phobes" "fascists" "neo Nazis" etc.

I have attended some of these "right wing" "national issues" rallies in the past and I will agree that occasionally a small minority of the people there chanted really terrible things which I did not agree with about immigrants and about people from some of our neighbouring countries, but the left wing media exaggerates very much. Most of the people there are not "fascists" or "racists".

They pretend to care about "human rights" but really they care about human rights for everyone else in the world except for other Greeks...

Oh really?  I think the Islamist/Leftist connection is pretty clear by now.

Pretty obvious that the Western Left and the Jihadi lads are natural allies for the time being  in that both want to tear down liberal bourgeois democracy.

The alliance may not last if they are successful but we aren't there yet

The Van Gogh murder was nothing but a terrorist attack by some radical guy, that had nothing to do with 'the political left'. But go ahead and believe that if it does make you feel better :p

Radical left, radical right, radical religious, as soon as someone is radical one way or another it's just not good.

Any attack on political freedoms is a political attack.

Agreed 100%.

I can feel your POV without difficulties, nevermind the physical distance.

On the side note - whoever felt comunism and its terror can understand what radical left means.

    • Apparently this season will be last one in Kamil Stoch career if his results wont be enough good for his standards.
    • Such a nice one for Colturi ! That was fun. It almost looked like a script with the cameras focusing on Colturi a couple of times before her first run and showcasing the potential of youngster and she didn't disappoint.      I hope Colturi skis for Albania forever. So much fun to cheer her with the Albanian flag.    I don't get it why everyone is being so critical of Colturi, you got no right to criticize a personal decision, as most European nations use imported athletes in many sports like wrestling and cheer them on like their.   Would you spend hours criticizing Frank Chamizo for switching to Italy rather than playing for Cuba?

    • It may also be that Ceccerelli saw that the conditions in the Italian youth teams were very poor and that is why she insisted on setting up her own team (the results of young Italian skiers unfortunately confirm this). A private team will always be better than a team with 10-12 skiers with max. 3-4 coaches, a one doctor and a physiotherapist. Colturi is the only skier in her team and she has several coaches, a masseur, a doctor etc. Of course, it costs money, but since the parents are famous and have money + Red Bull got involved. I don't understand why she can't start for Italy again? Red Bull should care more that Colturi starts in Cortina under the Italian flag than the Albanian one + Red Bull, as a brand, always has a bigger sales market in Italy with a population of 60 million than in small Albania. I hope that this can still be reversed by next year. For this we need talks between the federation + Colturi's parents + Red Bull + possibly the Italian Olympic Committee. Colturi may be a skier equal to Brignone or even better in the future. We can't lose her, so we have to do now!
    • I`m very disappointed with this weekend. Only becouse of Ghiotto form I`m happy. Unfortunately, the women's team will not function well if Lollobrigida skips most of the training camps and Fontana starts alternately in short tack and long track. It will end with her not winning any medals here or there, because it`s already clear that it will be very difficult to achieve good results in long track. I hope that she understands this, because in short track she has a real chance of winning medals in the women's relay and the mixed relay but in long track not.
    • Tragic performance of the Italian women's team - last place and probably something bad happened at the start. There are so few starts in the team that it will be a problem to even qualify for the World Championships - 8 best teams. After Lollobrigida's return and Fontana's addition, I was counting on much more, but it seems that there are too few joint trainings. With individual quality, we have no right to lose to the Czechs without Sablikova, or anonymous Korea. And unfortunately this start will count for a lot, because there are only 2 more and our chances of playing at the World Championships are minimal. In my opinion with Fontana going from Short Track to Long Trackand vice versa, we won't be much use in the team. Here great teamwork is needed, not improvisation. As of today, there is very little chance that we will qualify the women's team for the games.
    • men advanced to Division A for the first time since 2018 (when they went 1-8). Don't expect much progress next year
    • Ok, but there we are talking about a person who has parents from different countries. Colturi has nothing to do with Albania.
    • There are few people here from Austria, Switzerland, Norway and Finland.
