A member of the  Slovenian national team in cross-country skiing - 19-year-old Hana Mazi Jamnik - died in a tragic accident during a training session in Norway, the Skiing Association of Slovenia announced. 

 

A truck crashed into Kranjčanka shortly before 9 a.m. during skateboarding training in the Botshei tunnel on the road between Forsand and Joerpeland. As reported by Sportal, the victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Stavanger, but doctors were unable to save her life.

 

Last year, Hana Mazi Jamnik won the title of world junior champion in skateboarding in Val di Fiemme in skating technique. It was silver in the classical technique.

British Superbike rider Chrissy Rouse passed away aged 26

He crashed last Sunday at Donington and got hit on the head by a rider behind him, who couldn't avoid him anymore. When I was watching I was already feeling rather uncomfortable with the fact that after the red flag, absolutely nothing was shown (which is not a good sign). Only info was the commentators saying it was probably Rouse, since the rest was still coming through on the split times towards pit lane.
