Former pole vaulter Günther Lohre, who competed for West Germany at the 1976 Olympics, died last Friday at the age of 65.

LIna Cheryazova, the first Olympic Champion in women's aerials has passed away at the age of 50.

 

Still the only medal winner for :UZB in Winter Games history.
