If you can gain this much in one leg, you can more than easily lose more than this in three legs, especially if you don't have three of the top athletes left like and

 and  put arguably their strongest swimmers (based of led performance in the individual event) first. I’m assuming this has played out how they wanted so far.

Same for the Dutch, and their strongest runner in the end
