Officially no medal for us once again at the Summer Games in shooting. This was the last Games that I expected a medal from our shooters, even if Péni or Major literally wins everything in the next 3 years before Paris I will just expect one or two 5th/6th places at best because that's always what we get.

Is Rapid fire the most consistent shooting event by a mile? It's always the same guys in finals.. the german, the french, the cuban, always some chinese/korean involved as well...

Jány only 13th. yeah that kneeing opening series totally destroyed all hopes too early. nevermind he had a final in the Air Rifle at his first olympics, so more than fine for me.

Ah great, I was hoping we might be able to see this in a decent way, but all we get to see is the athlete shooting and a small score graphic after said athlete shot, instead of actually showing the targets. The horror show continues.

 

Time for IBU to be given some control here

Yeah, OBS is killing the sport with this, ISSF must be pissed. Just based on this coverage most people would say that shooting doesn't deserve to be a 15 gold medal discipline because it's close to being unwatchable.
