I just wish they could have done something different for the Paralympic logo instead of using the same...

That is great and all, but in reality it seems like they couldn't waste some time designing another logo, which makes the Paralympics an afterthought.

Yeah, I agree. The lazy virus in designing Para-Games logos is infecting more and more..

On the other hand, I kind of like the idea of making it 'inclusive' like this. To be fair, for most people the Paralympics are a tiny afterthought (if any thought at all) anyway..

I don't like this logo very much, but I kinda like the symbolisms behind it. However it looks too simple in my opinion, and it doesn't look like an Olympic logo...

I don't think using the same logo for the Paralympics should be seen as an afterthought. I think they wanted to show the opposite, that the Paralympics are as important as the Olympics and shouldn't be seen as different.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
    • option no.2 for sure, as it's been all this shitstorm organized by the nhl owners through their embedded reporters   ps not that the north american audience looks really aware of the hockey rules and habits outside the nhl (and around their game, too, since they look not to know that just a couple of weeks ago they played 2 nhl matches on an ice sheet of the exact same size of Milan's olympic arena)
    • Are we supposed to take Daly's word for it or is this just public posturing to try and shame the Milan organizers (which they certainly deserve for all the delays) in order to threaten NHL participation?
    • Well that was a disappointing opening ceremony. Not to mention the boss is late too...   Anyway this is another victim of bureaucracy, the initial creative director quit in October and we get this kind of show.   Original plan: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17EVayTpig/
    • Japan missed their last shot with hammer in the 10th last night against the Philippines for them to stay alive.  USA's remaining 2 games are against Philippines and Netherlands, so they have a tough road ahead, although they've already beaten Japan, so that helps for tiebreaker purposes.
    • They have already beaten Japan, so a win would them in a strong place.
