All the same Russian skiers are the best.:RUS I'm very happy for Harvey, the fourth place is his place

Not really sure what Harvey did to deserve that, but he has actually been talking pretty good about the Russians as far as I've seen. He's definitely not one of those athletes who go around shouting every Russian is dirty, ahd I read an interview where he said he was happy that at least some strong Russians got an invitation, even if they might beat him in the podium fight.

I think a lot of athletes 'deserve' Russians being angry at them, but not Harvey :)

Oh well, barely 21 years old and going home with bronze and triple silver (including the hardest event of all), I think when looking back he can be happy :d

4 medals and no gold? I dont think he will be very happy. In sports is only one place - the first. He was very upset after the finish

Well yeah, I don't mean right now. But you know, a bit later when looking back, it's pretty awesome to have your breakthrough season and come home with 4 medals. That's an amazing score, a medal in every event where you start, while before this season you even never had a World Cup podium. Silver and bronze medals count as well, especially if you're an athlete who is not a huge favourite for gold.

    • It's waaaay too expensive & inconvenient. Basically WOG minus the bobsleigh track & indoor arena for figure skating/hockey(which is the easy part of Olympic bid). Just won't happen anytime soon. Winter sports are too facility dependant and the entire alpine skiing requires a separate venue.

    • The Technical director of the Dutch Olympic Committee has, using his discretionary powers, decided to include them in the team. He cites “extra-ordinary circumstances”, but has not stated what they are. The use of these powers is quite rare. They were used in 2022 to nominate an alpine-skier.
