John Crichton-Stuart better known as Johnny Dumfries passed away at the age of 62.

 

Still best known as Ayrton Senna's Lotus teammate in 1986 (only because Senna vetoed the hire of Derek Warwick).

 

Winner of Le Mans 24 hours in 1988.

Alex Palou wins the IndyCar opener at Barber. That is a mild upset indeed.

 

Jimmie Johnson finished 19th three laps down after a harmless spin in the process.

 

Big pile-up on the opening lap eliminated Josef Newgarden who caused it by putting a wheel on the grass and spinning across the track.

 

@heywoodu Rinus VeeKay finished 6th after spinning out in that melee.

I'm curious where did this World Champion got his drivers license... :whistle:

Duuude... Moments after escaping the accident site (see above), Ogier was filmed intentionally driving through red lights. :facepalm:


FIA fined him 7000 euros apparently (5000 for causing the accident + 2000 for running the red lights).
