Hamilton holds off Verstappen by less than a second after some track limits controversy when Max passed Hamilton on track but went off course in T4 and was told to give the place back. Red Bull got undone by the undercut strategy earlier in the race.

 

Sebastian Vettel is a complete tool after a lame duck collision with Esteban Ocon for which he was rightfully penalised.

 

Yuki Tsunoda finishes 9th on his GP debut.

 

Haas seems to be the slowest car on the grid. If Mazepin boosts the crash repair bill, it's gonna be a veeery long season for them.

Yeah, RTL ceased to broadcast F1 after 2020. Heiko Wasser's Hawaiian shirts are retired now.

Loved this first race. It was exciting until the finish. Great debut for Tsunoda as well, scoring points in his first race.

Participants in most motorized and, in fact, non-motorized sports generally change the moving direction when a change of direction in the course - also called a curve or turn - is approaching. This is, in fact, normal behaviour, and is generally done to avoid things such as collisions with walls, which often have a negative end result.

Remember when he accused Mark Webber of crashing into him in Turkey when video evidence was clear it was Vettel who was changing his line? Vettel should be forever thankful to Adrian Newey for the double diffuser dominance. He's one of the worst world champions ever.

Canadian Grand Prix has been cancelled for the second straight season. Istanbul is on stand-by to replace it.

 

Meanwhile we've gotten one step closer to Miami GP in 2022. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is too powerful to upset the city council?
