Which is a good reason for jury voting. To be fair, no matter if Erdogan would send his mumbling grandma as Turkey's song, the Dutch televoting would still result in a ton of points for Turkey simply because there are a ton of Turkish people living here.

it is probably true, but i would say at least 70% of all votes come as diaspora votes anyway

i watched it tonight but did not plan to vote at all :d

But way better than this chicken noise...

Honestly I don't see much difference, they're both entertaining songs but hardly winners. Austria was my last hope among the top 5.

And Romania missed the final just by 5 points, tenth were Hungary :yikes: Iceland and Georgia were last in their semis

Poland was 14th in second semi, Russia 15th and 11th in first was Azerbaijan

So Switzerland wasn't even the next nation to qualify. Pity.

Also I was pretty sure Russia would be last.

Why? They voted better than the people?

Well they gave a lot of twelvers to Israel and Sweden... Not sure if that's much better imo.

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.
