What a disgusting result... I jk.

Why? Kuzmina didn't win a medal.

Marie 4th  I didn't expect that, she seemed really tired this season.

Congrats! I really like how positive you are, it was so close to a medal, but i understand it, given her season so far + the fact that Fourcade will probably win 15-20 golds here.

I said I was joking.

Ok, sorry, so "I jk" means i joke or i am joking?

Edit: But good to know that you agree that Kuzmina winning a medal would have been disgusting. #karma :mumble:

Nastya said that she is very happy with her skiing time (Absolutely the fastest one) and satisfied with her shape, but was unlucky in the prone shooting receiving a huge face wind immediately when she started shooting. she is a bit sad, she worked a lot for this day in order to became the first ever biathlete to win 3 times in a row the sprint, but well...that´s sport, one day you lose next time you maybe win..

and somehow she feel also now a bit relaxed when all that pressure is over, she can refocus now herself for the next races, she know her skiing is very good, so just need a bit of luck on the range and who know what can happen.

Paulína was just amazing today, shame she had flu last days, the consequences were clearly visible in the last lap..but still 1 place behind top 10 is great and still some magic in the pursuit is possible.

Other two..disaster in the range Ivona 2+3 and Poliaková 1+4 far far away even from the pursuit.

and Congrats :CZE Verča for the beautiful medal, hoped for the gold after it was certain that Nastya will be out of medals, but the bronze is nice too :cheer:

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.

Although the agenda has not been published yet, there shouldn’t be any major items over these two days, apart from the election of a member of the IOC Executive Board. This will be the eighth time the session is held in Italy, the last one being during the Turin 2006 Olympic Games.
