If not, Slovenia can qualify to the OQT as a European Team if they finish with more points than Portugal. Additionally, if Iceland > Austria then they can qualify with a win, draw or a loss depending on goal differential or if Austria wins the European quota.

 

 

 

Overall Austria/Iceland likely determines one European OQT spot while Portugal is in pole position for the other, especially when you consider Portugal's and Slovenia's final opponents and that Slovenia has a decent chance at getting the World Team OQT spot. Still, Denmark has nothing to play for in the final match so Slovenia getting an upset is not impossible.

I have a question. German media is reporting, that in case of a three way tie with Germany, Austria and Hungary, Austria will advance to the semis. Is that really true?

 

I thought Germany would advance. Both Germany and Austria won against Hungary, and their duel was a draw. But Germany beat Hungary with a higher margin. Did I make a mistake somewhere?
