The pots allocation for the football tournaments were determined:

 

Men's tournament

 

Pot 1 - Brazil (A1), Argentina, Mexico, Japan

Pot 2 - Nigeria, South Korea, Honduras, Iraq

Pot 3 - Sweden, Fiji, Portugal, South Africa

Pot 4 - Algeria, Colombia, Denmark, Germany

 

Women's tournament

 

Pot 1 - Brazil (E1), Germany, United States

Pot 2 - France, Australia, Sweden

Pot 3 - Canada, China, New Zealand

Pot 4 - Colombia, South Africa, Zimbabue

 

The draw will be held on 14 April

wtf are these pots?  we could get a group with Iraq, Fiji and Algeria or a group with Nigeria, Portugal and Germany.

I know Algeria are not easy, but I'd take them over Colombia or Portugal. Denmark and you is kind of 50/50 though.

Two teams from the same confederation can not be in the same group.

 

I prefer South Africa and Germany than Portugal and Algeria
