DQ for Kantele but Zebrowski only got a warning after 2 false starts (he started just after Kantele the first time (but so little that he couldn't have reacted on Kantele))...

It's only a coincidence that the event is held in Poland

Edit: They were pretty much forced to show the Spaniard a yellow as well after that one.

We are not having the best of times here. Couple of unlucky 13th place in the qualifications. Pravdica was an exception to that rule in men's long jump, but had NM today...

Yey, we scored another final in the women's long jump and men's discus. In 30 minutes Javelin B group starts, where we're expecting another one to qualify, that would mean a 6th final in these championships for Lithuania.

Let's see if our injured national record holder in the javelin can fight for the medals. Very unfortunate, since he usually throws 80 metres in his sleep :(

    • The Italian team has already achieved a better result than the Chinese team in 2022 at home. The Italian team has made enormous progress since 2023, when we were still losing to Korea and Poland. Of course, this is mainly due to naturalizations, but China did the same. It's one of the few sports that have made significant progress before these Olympics and this is how it should be in most disciplines at home games.
