It’s OK on the circuit where you have Finland II, Russia III etc who defer to their senior team & nobody outside the top 5 much cares, but once every four years when you have huge fields with everyone competing to the max, it’s a disaster like short-track. The men's team's performance today was okay, without that bad luck of Brugger they would have had a realistic chance of finishing within the TOP 4.
