this time your money is safe...:hatoff:

but I'm sure you have to change your favourite horse quite soon...Westvold Hansen was close today, maybe next time, should she get a few more seconds advantage from the jumping hill, she's gonna end up beating the American...:pope:

--------

the mighty Italians...well, Sieff is only 17 and maybe she has some (small) chances to improve on the skis and become a contender, but Dejori looks too slow to be good one day and Gianmoena is simply slow like a turtle on her skis (not to mention that she's one of the oldest in the field, being already 25)...

I fear this is not a sport where we can get too many podium places in the future, just like it happens among the boys...

Everyone is only 17 :p (well, some exceptions of course)

So far Geraghty-Moats remains the overwhelming favourite, although of course that's going to change more and more once the women's Nordic combined grows from a children's event to an adult event in the next 3-4 years or so.

USA used to be a powerhouse in women's ski jumping like 10 years ago and they can barely score a point in 2020. The days of Lindsey Van, Jessica Jerome and Sarah Hendrickson are gone, the traditional ski jumping powerhouses like Austria, Norway and Germany have taken over (plus Japan and Slovenia).

Pretty much this!

They will dominate the first 2-3 years, when everyone else doesn't care or know what they're doing and then fade to the back, when the others get more interested.

And to think, that when i started watching NC, USA had a team and performances on the level of Norway, Germany, Austria, Finland.

Pittin wasted the chance of the season :(

He is not in shape on cross country skiing, otherwise he would have tried at the beginning of last lap, he had covid at the end of november. The important thing is that, after many years, he has begun to find some very good jumps
