One of the completely forgotten parts of sporting history.

Possibly the first professional team sport.

It's a small link with bandy but fascinating....

Definitely makes for some interesting reading :)

Yes:p It's the fourth world championships with this system.

Last year Finland lost 4 games and won only 2, but they were with silver medals.

Still no surprises in the pool A. Russia has defeated Finland 6:2. Sweden won too.

In the pool B Norway won again. But Germany lost to Belarus only in the penalty shoot-out.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
