Trump’s travel ban is probably terrifying the IOC at the moment. Atheltes currently exempt but who knows for how long.

Those bans have an exclusion for athletes. Which I suspect is something his good buddies Infantino and the Olympic champion from 1976 lobbied for.

But the law isn't even about not allowing men in women's events. It's about not allowing trans women in men's events, no matter one's opinion about that decision, that is certainly a difference.

 

Not that it will really change anything by the way. I wonder if there were more than 1 or 2 trans women with a realistic shot at making LA 2028.
