Golden Spin of Zagreb started today (ISU Challenger event and the oldest annual event in the World).

 

Awesome result for our pair Petranović/Souza in short program, 53.14. Surpassed their PB by 7 points. :) Way to go. :cheer:

Indeed a nice accomplishment for them... hope to see them contending for a spot in PyeongChang

Our Ice Dance pair Lucie Myslivečková/Lukáš Csolley will miss the world championships because of Lucie´s injury. The season is over for them. they will have now to recover as soon as possible and start to prepare themselves for the final olympic qualification in September. The problem is that only 4 quotas for 4 different non-already qualified countries will be contested

      Don't want to be negative, but i slightly hope Johaug doesn't win a gold here, just for dissing the World Cup after Tour de Ski..   And she is one of my favourite skiers..

      Really shocking news  apparently from the heart attack at the age of 49   he was a 3 time Olympic Champion. couple of wrestlers have more/better medals but he was always considered as the most technical wrestler of all time. always fun to watch

      Due to lack of NH events during World Cup this one is always bound to throw a surprise. Lindvik basically did nothing all season and the Norwegian ski jumping has struggled with all the funding issues but here they are with old on home turf.   One bronze is bad for Austria but I'm convinced they'll bounce back on LH
