I remember Merlene Ottey eventually ending up as :SLO

Yes, but Ottey trained in Ljubljana for many years before given citizenship.

Not sure what is going on with Marcel Jacobs :ITA at the moment, was just shockingly bad in :FIN this evening.

Question: guys, do you think the WR’s of 100m and 200m can be beaten? If yes which of them will be beaten first do you think? I’m talking about Bolt’s records. I’m thankful for any answer.

I agree with Josh that the 100m is the "easier" world record of the two.

I assume the 100m WR will beaten within the next two decades or so. It's very impressive but I still get the nagging feeling that we never quite saw Bolt's best possible time, which would mean that, for sure, a human *can* go faster.

In typical fashion, the U.S. jury not awarding any points to the top 5 nations which allows Spain to sneak into the top 5 ahead of Argentina!   Congratulations to Mexico on their first gold medal of the contest, moving them back into the top 10!   We move to the final jury of session 3, the Slovenian jury.
