:USA Anna Hall goes #2 on the all-time heptathlon list with 7,032 points in Gotzis! :hyper::thumbup:

1.95m in the high jump, 13.19 in the 100m hurdles, and 2:01.23 in the 800m are just insane

Tied WR in my eyes😁

she is btw of the same age as Carolina Klüft when she did her 7032 points in what would be her very last heptathlon.

1.95 might be the most competitive result in a single event but Klüft and especislly JJK (12.69!!) was better in hurdles. The 800 imo stands out most. 7 seconds faster than the WR series and 12 seconds faster than Klüft 7032. And I like it, because it is usually the least prioritized event of the heptathlon but very important of you should call yourself a perfect hybrid athlete

Wich will be the first event for the qualification to the Olympic Game ?

That is not known yet. In Athletics, the qualification period in Marathon always begins first, because it also ends first.

    • Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2025      Welcome back to Session 3 of the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2025! We resume the second-half of the contest with Ireland holding a significant lead of 31 points ahead of nearest rivals France.   Just behind France we have a band of nations bunched closely together: Argentina, Albania, Romania, Canada with Spain and Mexico not too far adrift.   We have just completed one half of the contest so there is huge scope for changes to happen and in TISC they usually do! Let's see what the second-half has in store for us.   Opening the voting in the third session is the Israeli national jury. Good evening Israel. • To revive some discussion here, I did my own qualifying simulation, here's a Google sheet of the team sizes (and discipline breakdown).   https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1W2TihYgttZ3O64VNUzJsonRIkUlz7vJdL0Ago6bJOpg/edit?usp=sharing   Some notes: - Qualification was simulated based on the most current qualification document (2028 or 2024) available. For new events I went by as much information available, upholding the Olympic values for diversity. - This was based by the current performance of athletes/teams. Injured athletes or athletes which took a year off were not considered. This will given future updates a more dynamic feeling. - Until we receive an update from the IOC, Belarussian and Russian athletes will be considered if the sport federation currently allows them to compete. - As with previous Olympics, refugee athletes will be given extra quotas to compete unless qualified normally. - For tripartite quotas, I generally gave it to the best eligible athlete. In reality, this doesn't always happen as it is application based so a lower ranked athlete may be given the quota or a reallocation may occur.     Over the next week I'll take a deeper dive into these numbers for some interesting facts.
