dezbee2008 819 Posted October 30 #271 Share Posted October 30 While we're waiting, let me casually drop the music from the two countries I mentioned earlier. I wasn't sure if Mongolia has ever been featured in a festival of music segment, but East Timor / Timor Leste never has, plus I've been watching their English-language TV stations lately, hence the choice for both countries Anyway, here's And I haven't decided on two other countries, but I'll get back to you on that maestro and Henry_Leon
Cinnamon Bun 896 Posted October 30 Author #272 Share Posted October 30 (edited) Announcement It is with regret that I have to postpone the final till at least 10th November. This is not a fixed date and is likely to be moved to the following week. The delay is due to jurors not having voted yet and preparations on the final weekend still not having been completed. The draw is still set to take place tomorrow but there is chance this could be moved day by day until preparations are complete. With this latest announcement @Gianlu33 and @LDOG if you would like to rejoin the contest with this recent change then you are more than welcome to do so. kungshamra71 892 Posted October 31 #277 Share Posted October 31 Last stop on this TISC Central Asia tour: Turkmenistan One of the most closed and censored lands in the world, Turkmenistan is a place with incredible things to visit, with a beautiful desert landscape, historical ruins from ancient civilisations, and the unique "Door to Hell". But it is also a country where everything is controlled and restricted (we had no access to social networks and tons of blocked websites, can only enter with invitation letter, with a predefined tour and accompanied by a guide at all times), with giant megalomaniac buildings created in order to maintain a cult of the leader and its regime. It basically felt like what i imagine is North Korea (but without the hate for americans). It is eccentric, it is impressive, but above all, it is bizarre. Here is a patriotic catchy song i heard when was traveling there. . Mähri Pirgulyýewa – Halkyň arkadagly zamanasy konig and Wumo

There are some government allowed routes that go to the West, but the usual one is just around the two main cities (Ashgabat and Mary) and then crossing the desert to that gas fire crater. thats what I did, entered from the east from Bukhara (Uzbekistan) and left again to Uzbekistan but in the Khiva border. Not sure how’s the caspian sea there, but the only time I saw it , in Azerbaijan, didn’t look very clean to swim. copravolley

The World Championships were supposed to be held some years ago.
