I read elsewhere that her husband works for Watford FC and amazingly, she is planning to move to :ENG!  Not when she sees it, she won't!

:(:( This has been a horrible last year or two for alpine skiing. Brignone, Gut, Shiffrin, Vlhova, Kilde,  Sarrazin all having extended injuries..

Brignone was back on her skis Yesterday for the first time since the injury

it was just a very short free ski session, of course...but it was very inspirational and gave us some kind of motivation to hope she can be back in time for the Games :fingers:

Kilde is also back in business, now...he'll be a medal contender in February, I'm sure

And now one of Team USA's medal contenders is out with a torn ACL. Lauren Macuga was going to be doing the giant slalom today. :(

Lindsey Vonn has officially qualified and will be skiing for :wUSA: at her 5th Olympics!  She first competed at the 2002 Salt Lake games as a 17 year old.  Would be an absolutely remarkable story if she wins a medal in Cortina

:KEN finally did get its men's quota, and there should be at least two new :AIN quotas with the next update as well.

France currently has 3-4 men quotas in top 10 places under the line... If this situation will be on 18th january, who do you think they will nominate and how many slalom racers (3 or 4) if the quota will be for e.g. 7? There are many good names, like Noel, Rassat, Amiez, Muffat, Allegre, Alphand, Pinturault, Elezi, Vitale, ... Catch is that 3 of the top 4 slalom racers are not so good in giant slalom...

Yesterday I had a beautiful dream: I dreamed that Federica Brignone won the Super-G, but I don't know if it was the Olympics or just a regular World Cup, because I woke up at that moment:p

Federica Brignone yesterday started training on the gates - I think it's a giant or SG. She probably can became to the World Cup at Kronplatz on January 20
