World cup rankings, only world cup rankings.

People tend to forget that not only favorites win medals.

The prediction for the US looks really weird, but Norway should indeed win the medal table, they will win tons of golds in biatlon, cross-country, snowboard, freestyle skiing and maybe even alpine skiing, nordic combined or ski jumping.

20 golds would be historic, but who knows?

Here are some other predictions:

Norway team went to the Olympic Games-2018, taking with them over 6,000 doses of anti-asthmatic drugs, NRK says. In terms of the amount of medicines imported into Korea of this type, Norwegians are ahead of Finland, Sweden and Germany, and the first two they outperform in dozens of times.

The publication claims that the Norwegian delegation took 1800 doses of Symbicort, 1200 atrovent, Alvesko and Airomir (another name is salbutamol), and 360 - Ventolin.

Bjoergen can be swallowed up from so many..All the same, the dirty Russians are to blame

It's all. IOC didnt agree to expedited consideration of the appeal in the CAS of Yuskov and Kulizhnikov. They will be considered after the Games. The reason for not allowing Yuskov to the Games - 11 years ago he was caught on marijuana. The main favorite for gold IOC frankly killed. This will remain a stain forever. Her who was behind this decision will burn forever in hell

Though I do agree that it's a lot (I've even seen Norwegians feeling that it's suspicious), they don't plan on using it all. It's to be sure, where the Swedes are planning to buy extra medication in Korea if needed. It would however be interesting to hear how much they have left after the Olympics.

I think Norway will end up with more golds, Germany with significantly less medals, France with quite a lot less gold, Italy with much more medals, China with less gold, Russia with more medals. Basically :p

    • Regarding the swimming they have added the 800m for men and the 1500m for women so cutting numbers would be odd.
    • That quota I’ve been told by an athlete aiming to qualify who I know online.
    • Has the quota for Canada been offically confirmed anyway, or is that just a rumour? I can't find anything on google about it (nor the suggested quota for England's athletes someone posted earlier).   12 per gender would make sense (it's roughly what Canada sent to Birmingham). 12 overall seems dumb.
    • Some sports have qualification systems   3x3 basketball (wheelchair) Para-cycling Powerlifting Weightlifting
    • In the past few games, Canada (and other nations) was given an overall athlete quota which they then divided it through the various sports.
    • Whose decision was this, Team Canada's or the Organising committes?
