Men's Rugby Sevens Tournament at the Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024

Recommended Posts

Feel like Argentina were very unlucky that France didn't cop another sin bin but then again they only have themselves to blame for such a slow start and the decision to kick when they were a player up.

Won like 50 games in the season for nothing. The thruth is that in the two most important matches (series grand final and today) they shat their pants.

It is very harsh for the team. You have to be at your best level when it is important. If i remember well, Argentina's team had some injuries before Olympics that didn't help

After this, the Olympics games are over for me (before its beggining oficially)

I’ll be rooting for both of your field hockey teams and men’s football team for what it’s worth, really hoping you can come home with some medals! :yes

Really more of a showboating try than an insurance try, all they had to do at this point was to kick it out to win.

Actually fairly poor sportsmanship to go for a try in this situation IMO

What the heck are you even saying ? Scoring is unsportsmanlike now. France living rent free in them heads it seems ...

Seeing how W Hanfball, M & W Football are going, I assume :FRA is going to win plenty of medals here. Will they even make the Medal tally Top 3 ? :d

The hosts over performing is as sure bet as any :p We saw what happened with Japan last time.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
