:NED Vetter pulls out of the heptathlon after the long jump :yikes:

Yeah, she already seemed somewhat injured after the high jump and never really got in contention for the medals at all. Judging by how she looked sitting there on the stands, she's not exactly heartbroken, probably saw it coming for a while already :p

Justice done to South Africa in the 4x400m - they get advanced

Nigeria DQF lane violation.

What kind of justice?  :IND had better timings than :RSA.

From next time, teams would like to intentionally tripple in their lanes and demand qualification to the next round.

Tebogo: "I can't be the face of athletics, because I'm not loud and arrogant like Noah."

Lyles: "I want to congratulate Tebogo and Bednarek on an amazing 200m final."

Come on Tebogo, don't pull that shit, I want to keep liking you :p

:d

I liked this by Lyles:

Whether you were rooting for me or against me, you have to admit you watched, didn’t you? 😉

Gonna be asking my colleague whether he watched, after my vacation :p

Who knows what is behind the scenes:pmaybe Tebogo has a strong reason to say that:d

It easy to see why he might think Lyles is loud and arrogant.

Sure, it just doesn't make Tebogo look better when mentioning it that way in a press conference :p

Only reason to say something like this is to try and create some drama :d

The way he said it makes me thing he wasn’t intentionally trying to take a dig at Lyles, I think he’s trying to say that he has a more “out there” and bigger personality, compared to him who’s more reserved. English isn’t his first language, so maybe it was a mischoice of words, but even if it wasn’t he’s not wrong? I’m sure some Lyles fans would probably agree with him.

    • This is a wanted behaviour so that in desktop the space is better optimized, while in mobile its shorter. Did you have something else in your mind on how to fix the issue?
    • Yes, though it is weird that on my laptop, I see the shooting logo on both sides of the word...but on my mobile, the graphic only shows to the left of the word (and can't even swipe to see). But the issue of the banner going off screen is fixed.
    • Would a page like this fix that issue? (ignore the format, just check if that issue would be solved).
    • did send one athlete to the last edition, but she was only allowed to compete as a "guest" since they don't yet have an NOC.

    • Can you send me a link to the page you mean? Thanks
    • @Sindo One note...is there a way to make the top graphic a little smaller on mobile?  When I'm on my phone, the top graphic (the one that has the graphic+sport name) only shows the left half, but if you swipe right you see the rest...but that's different than the swiping right in the table...if you swipe right on the graphic, it makes white space appear underneath where the rest of the table might be.  Sorry if that doesn't make sense. Attached are screenshots from my phone.         (In my head, the Archery logo would be just screen width, and you could swipe the tables as it currently stands.)
