A question for @bestmen

Djemel Sedjati of Algeria may be the favourite for the 800m Olympic title but what do we know of his history before 2021?

Can we be sure he is not a drug cheat?

Can’t answer that question, but huh? Sedjati is amongst the medal contenders sure, but he isn’t the favourite for the men’s 800m Olympic title. Arop, Kemei, Wanyonyi, Kinyamal, and maybe even Hoppel are all favoured over him IMO.

Potentially, but then again he struggled a lot at the Ostrava Golden Spike on Tuesday. Weather conditions weren’t the most favourable however, lots of wind. His form has also been really inconsistent lately, with best marks of 5.65m, 5.80m, and 5.52m in his last three competitions.

True. I actually think this Pole Vault event will be exciting. Anyone want that win.
