Three pairs will qualify based on the WA Ranking by June 30th. Currently 3 highest ranked NOCs (not those countries that already qualified at least 1 pair) based the fastest time achieved: :PER :POR :CZE

But still there will be some competitions to improve their time. I guess :GRE :USA :GUA :LTU :KAZ and maybe also :KOR will try to improve their times and qualify through the ranking. Although, I haven't found another event where will be the mixed relay event, I suppose they will be a part of some national championship?

Can athletes who do not participate in the individual 20km walk event participate in the mixed walking relay?

That's my question too. Canada's women's athlete is unlikely to qualify in the individual event. :mumble:

Once again Brazil being robbed in this sport really close to the end

no, that wasn't a robbery

once in their lifetime, judges Today have been consistent through the whole day and Lyra was actually losing her technique once she was getting tired

the capital mistake is absolutely on her, she knew she had 2 red cards already and didn't even think about slowing down the pace a bit and try to make her action correct again, so to save at least a medal (meanwhile the Japanese girl was really smart -as you would expect at this level of the game- and once she was joined by the Italian didn't even try to answer the attack because she knew that she was also on the edge of a penalty and any increase of the pace at that point would have meant another red card, so she smartly settled down for silver instead of taking useless risks)

Neither was the Zhang touch on Camargo at the Pan American Fencing Olympic Qualifier (if that’s one of the “robberies” that he means)

Brazilian fans are very passionate people, and I’ve noticed that most of the non-Brazilian fencing fanatics disagree with that call. Most of them seem to agree that the touch for 14-14 was made BEFORE the fall and not after. When I first watched it I had doubts, but from replaying it again it was the right call IMO.

Italy now has 6 people qualified enter? 2+2 with minimums + 2 with relays? Today, in the 20-kilometer race, the Italian was 1 second up of the minimum.

As for the games themselves, Stano and Palmisano will 99% take part in the relay if they are healthy. Trapletti is 39 years old and will not exceed a certain level, and Fortunato has never won an individual medal at a major event. Only one of his shots in the 20 km race in Paris, e.g. a medal will make him take Stano's place. Therefore, for both Trapletti and Fortunato, today's gold medal means a lot and I can even suspect that they were there at the top of their form this season. Applause for them but it's a pity that Italy doesn't have the second qualification and that they won't be able to run this distance in Paris either.

Seems to be some confusion about quotas and places etc. These relay quotas are the same as 4x100, 4x400 etc

A nation that qualifies a walking relay team can enter that team with any man and any woman they want, but they can’t use those quotas to get extra individuals in the 20km walk

Most countries will use their strongest individuals (ie those already qualified) for the team event though so they won’t be additional quota spots for most.

Canada is an example where qualification increases their athletic team by one. Dunfee will go in the individual event and he’ll go in the relay too. His partner in the relay won’t be in the individual event though

    • Choosing the right Study Abroad Consultant is a critical step for students looking to pursue education overseas. With so many options available, it can be challenging to determine which consultant is best suited for your academic goals. To make the most out of your study abroad journey, it is essential to find a reliable consultant who understands your educational needs and helps you navigate the complexities of applying to international universities. Here are some essential factors to consider when choosing the right Study Abroad Consultant for your academic goals. 1. Evaluate Their Expertise and Experience When selecting a Study Abroad Consultant, it is crucial to assess their experience and expertise in the field. A well-established consultant with years of experience will have in-depth knowledge of the study abroad process, including admission requirements, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities. You should look for consultants who specialize in your preferred countries and courses. This ensures they are up-to-date with the latest changes in university admissions and can provide the best guidance. For example, The Student Helpline, a reputable education consultancy, offers personalized guidance for students seeking education in various countries. Their team of experienced counselors helps students with course selection, university shortlisting, and the entire application process. 2. Check Their Track Record of Success Another important factor to consider is the consultant’s track record. Ask about their success rate with student placements in prestigious universities. Testimonials and reviews from previous clients can give you insight into the consultant's ability to deliver results. A high success rate in placing students in top-tier institutions suggests that the consultant has a good understanding of the admission processes and can guide students effectively. The Student Helpline has built a strong reputation for helping students secure admissions to top universities across the globe. Their comprehensive support has helped many students achieve their academic goals, making them a trusted partner in the study abroad journey. 3. Assess Their Range of Services A comprehensive Study Abroad Consultant should offer a wide range of services that go beyond just university applications. From visa counseling to pre-departure briefings, they should provide support at every stage of the process. Ensure that the consultant you choose offers services that align with your needs. Some consultants may also assist with accommodation arrangements, travel plans, and scholarship applications. The Student Helpline stands out in this regard by offering end-to-end services, including visa support, financial aid guidance, and even post-arrival services. Their holistic approach ensures that students feel supported throughout their entire study abroad experience. 4. Personalized Guidance for Academic Goals Every student has unique academic goals, so it's essential to find a Study Abroad Consultant that offers personalized guidance. A good consultant will take the time to understand your academic background, future aspirations, and career goals before recommending the right course and university for you. They should also be able to suggest alternative options if your initial choices don’t work out. At The Student Helpline, students receive tailored guidance based on their individual preferences and qualifications. The consultancy team takes the time to understand each student’s academic strengths and career objectives before crafting a personalized study plan. 5. Transparency and Ethical Practices Transparency is a critical factor when choosing a Study Abroad Consultant. You should ensure that the consultant is clear about their fees, services, and processes from the start. Some consultants may charge hidden fees or promise unrealistic outcomes to lure students in, so it’s essential to choose a consultant that operates with integrity. Reputed consultants like The Student Helpline follow transparent practices, offering students a clear breakdown of costs and services. Their ethical approach ensures that students receive honest guidance, avoiding false promises and unnecessary expenses. 6. Availability and Communication Effective communication is key when working with a Study Abroad Consultant. Ensure that your consultant is readily available to answer your questions and provide updates throughout the application process. Delayed responses or lack of communication can cause unnecessary stress during an already overwhelming time. The Student Helpline is known for maintaining open channels of communication, offering prompt responses and updates at every step. Their consultants are available to provide students with the clarity they need to make informed decisions about their study abroad plans. Conclusion Choosing the right Study Abroad Consultant is a significant decision that can influence the success of your international education journey. By evaluating their experience, track record, range of services, and ethical practices, you can make an informed choice that aligns with your academic goals. Reputed consultants like The Student Helpline can help you navigate the complex process of studying abroad and ensure that your dreams of an international education become a reality. By choosing wisely, you can maximize your chances of success and embark on a fulfilling academic journey overseas.
    • To pass that pin, they could have done a hug. I think the whole scene seems made to arrive to the kiss (why is Gil-galad there but is not involved in treating? He should be the one to decide after all), so to cater to the romantic part of the audience (again, soap opera style) and to get negative reactions from who knows that it'd be sacrilege in this world.  As for the orcs, same as everything else - they want to add something revolutionary in that world but then immediately inconsistent. One scene orcs want to be loved, the next one savagely licking blood from knives (copied from LotR of course), then back to wanting love. It's like they didn't read the script they wrote.
    • Which is why I'm not reading the books, ever (because obviously he is never going to finish that). No problem with the shows though.
    • I honestly wonder how that can be done. Generally speaking, rider behaviour is most likely the first thing one would have to look at. So many bad falls due to riders just not paying attention, taking insane and often even unncessary risks or (hello Jay Vine) coming from the world of things like Zwift and therefore not having basic bike control skills.   There's of course also other things, like mass sprints on those super wide and straight roads.
    • They see dying to help Gaza like a honor of warriors they did what  they can  ...Hezbollah are paying their empathy by avoid  civilians ...enormous mistake
    • The terrorist Dick schoof is sending weapons to the terrorist Satanyahu    his name is Dick
    • nothing related to the leader , their goal is to kill people and steal the land
    • @Sindo Not to be annoying  But a page being full after 3 (!) posts surely isn't by design, but something not going entirely right in the forum software?     It was already honestly too little to have a new page every 10 posts, but every 3 is a bit much
    • They infiltrate governements and use black magic  money and media to manipulate them , well done Satan
    • Rumours are saying terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah of Hezbollah may have been killed. Wouldn't be surprising, since yesterday's large attacks they have not made a single coherent statement, it's like all leadership is gone.
