At least it gives 4 others a chance to swim I don't get the impression the men's 4x200m will be a priority, the 4x100 free and the medley relay will likely get more attention (the free because it can realistically make the final, the medley relay since it's on the last day and people usually really like competing it). The 4x200m is the only realistic way for a lot of the male swimmers to make the team so I can def see why Knox and Liendo, who will both have a decent number of swims, are happy to leave those spots to someone else.
