Great Britain’s women’s team isn’t what it used to be (however the loss to New Zealand, and the big losses to Denmark, Italy, and Sweden are concerning), while Japan is essentially sending their C-team. Sweden also outside of a qualifying position at 2-3 is the most shocking outcome so far, but when you consider that they’ve had a really tough early schedule, losing to very good teams in Canada, Italy, and to a lesser extent Norway it’s wasn’t out of the realms of possibility (I was expecting them to at least beat one of them though). I expect them to pick it up throughout the rest of the round robin. Edited March 23 by Josh intoronto
