It's gotten to the point where I don't even celebrate Tentoglou's gold medals anymore, it's just become the norm :d

In typical Tentoglou fashion, he doesn't celebrate either and is actually angry that he only jumped 8.22 :p

I just hope he can win another Olympic gold in Paris, I'm a little worried about it as he is bound to fail at some point, and to be honest an athlete like him is totally worth another Olympic gold so hopefully he can take his chances. Obviously he will still be the big favourite for gold but it won't be easy...

Also happy with Gusin getting 7th in the women's high jump yesterday. 1.88 is nothing special for her but she's in a really good position to finally qualify for the Olympics (via ranking).

She had injury problems which really hurt her chances for Rio and Tokyo, and she even said before this year that the Olympics weren't her main goal because something always goes wrong for her in Olympic years, so she didn't want to have high expectations, and now she is almost certain to qualify as long as she stays healthy. Very happy for her!

Not really a matter of allowing it or not. You're allowed to run under protest, which generally results in a DQ anyway.
