OlympicsFan 858 Posted August 17, 2016 #31 Share Posted August 17, 2016 Crazy results ... Ketbi, the korean guy, Tortosa, Tuncat, the iranian guy ... all out in the first round. Its good to see unexpected results, but on the other hand i want the favorites to win here, they worked so hard the last 4 years and should get rewarded here. Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.
thiago_simoes 1,423 Posted August 17, 2016 #32 Share Posted August 17, 2016 Now I'll have to root for the two Mexicans to reach the finals, so the Brazilians can go to the repechage.

thiago_simoes 1,423 Posted August 17, 2016 #35 Share Posted August 17, 2016 I can't believe it. Both Mexican athletes lost. What a poor Olympics for Brazil and Mexico.
mrv86 3,138 Posted August 17, 2016 Author #36 Share Posted August 17, 2016 I'm impressed by Tuncant and the Iranian competitor going out in the first round. Also proud of Itzel managing to advance to semis, although I expected Tijana to defeat her. Good job for the Serbian, now I want her to win the competition As for Navarro, he could have advanced to the final if he put his skills on it, however he will have to settle to fight for bronze tonight. Please, let us have two more medals at least

mrv86 3,138 Posted August 18, 2016 Author #39 Share Posted August 18, 2016 Wow. once more on the line of a medal and they decide to throw the match away. What a lack of determination by Manjarrez. Anyway congrats to the Thai girl!
mrv86 3,138 Posted August 18, 2016 Author #40 Share Posted August 18, 2016 And as I expected, another 5th place today! Wow, Navarro didn't do anything until the last round, what was he expecting
