Anyone trackside in Park City

Nope.

If you’re looking results they’ll be available on the IBSF website.

Utah Olympic Park is streaming the races on their YouTube channel.

Although the season is basically over (for the top athletes anyway), it is interesting to see as many as 41 sleds entered for Igls this week. Could be the biggest event in a while.

It really sucks that men’s skeleton quotas were cut to 25, because men’s skeleton probably has the greatest diversity in terms of competing and competitive countries at the moment.

The greatest, compared to what? :p

I mean, there's like 4,5 significantly competitive countries at the top level...

It’s a sport that gives everyone a chance.  Luge is great, but the only way you are going to get to the top is to go to school in the same town as a track & start at age 10.  Pretty much everyone in skeleton converted from some other sport when they were already an adult.

Comparative to other disciplines in the sport at the moment.

The only other discipline is the women's skeleton and even that is more diverse in terms of nations having competitive sliders :p

Podiums this season (italic means at least one win):

Men

LAT
RUS
GER

GBR
KOR
AUT

Women

AUT
RUS
GER

NED
CZE
LAT
CAN

With the women also having Belgium, Italy, Great Britain and USA being somewhat close to a podium position at some point during the season.

Just to clarify: I'm not disagreeing with you finding it a shame the quotas have been cut, quota cuts almost always suck :p
