It looks like the wording on the coaches shirt and hat are backwards.  It does look really odd without Martin in that group.

There is still a Martin in the group :p

There will instead be sprints, pursuits and mass starts.

Did they discover our biathlon thread? If so, we want more individual races @ibu  :)

Reading tweet 1: "Excellent, let's see what tweet 2 is about"

Oooooh fuck me, stop messing up the IBU Cup all the time

The IBU Cup should not be a testing ground for formats, it should be a B-division.

Also: if the Super Sprint would not make it, that's good timing from @brunamoura - the one person in the world who liked it - to quit biathlon :p

That might be the best hashtag that I have ever seen.  Very descriptive and no question as to its intent.

And it fits the single tweet, even allows to mention a few accounts too.

I am starved for any real news, so here are sort of interesting things.

Tatiana Akimova has been brought back into the Russian team.

Czech biathletes took part in a roller ski race.  Good to see anything happening.

    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
