First 1000 Tickets for the World Cup in Jasná were sold in 5 minutes ;)

 

The organizers announced the start of ticket sales on Tuesday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. The first wave started with a limited number of tickets for both days (Saturday January 20th GS and Sunday January 21st SL), their price started at 35 euros It sold out within five minutes.

 

Tickets from the second wave, starting at 45 euros, also sold out very quickly.

and just now the organizers announced that the weekend is completely sold out :d There no more tickets availbale, but ofc unlucky people without tickets who will want to attend the races are free to come and cheer from the surrounding area

 

Should be some hell of atmosphere next late January in the Low Tatras

Also, apparently Lukas Braaten has announced retirement, because of some stupid dispute with the Norge federation.

It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.

    • Last few weeks of the World Cup season for winter sports (and Junior Worlds, depending on streaming), Men's Curling Worlds, Saquarema Elite 16, and some tennis   That's it unless I'm missing something, not much going on    Which is a good thing honestly, very busy next couple of weeks.
    • What happened to Brazil's women's team? On the other hand it looks like Argentina may be the top South American team on the women's side. Defeating Spain, China and South Africa was unlikely up until this year
    • These are the teams I think will qualify for the WC this window:           Hoping for some debutants to qualify!
